Our company is an authorized service partner of the greatest computer equipment producer, IBM.

IBM Czech Republic covers the needs of servicing activities for PC products (desktop computers, servers, notebooks, monitors and their accessories) by a group of authorized service partners identified as the "Authorized Warranty Service Partner".

In respect to our narrow specialization in IBM equipment, we belong among the prime service partners; in this area we provide a broad spectrum of services on the highest level.

The entire spectrum of IBM equipment specialized services can be divided into several categories:

  • Expert Assembly and Enlivening of IBM Computer Systems
    Did you purchase a new server and the supplier sent you a package of boxes through some transportation service? It is such cases especially why the expert assembly service of IBM servers has been widespread - when our technicians perform installation of all additional components in the server, attune firmware versions, the disk arrays configuration and test the whole system. It concerns especially installation of ServeRAID adapters, further processors, harddisks, expansion and proper configuration of memory modules and installation of backup drives.

  • Regular Inspections of Computer Systems and Planning of Engineering Modifications

  • Regular Server Inspections
    Planning of service days is an essential prerequisite of reliable server functioning. System and error logs are checked, causes of these logs are removed and the firmware upgrade to current versions is performed. When the producer recommends any engineering modifications, these are performed, as well.

  • Preventive Maintenance and Prophylaxis of Servers, Data Storage Systems, Backup Systems, Notebooks
    When did you last check the inner cleanliness of your servers? Prophylaxis tends to be underestimated, however, it can have an essential effect on the reliability of your computer systems. It concerns servers especially but also workstations, external disk arrays and backup systems. Permanent cleanliness has an important effect on the general system climate and contributes to problem free running.

  • Updating of Server Firmware, Disk Array Drivers, the Diagnostics System and Other Functions
    With the increasing number of new devices, the importance of up-to-date firmware versions in BIOS systems of mainboards grows, as well as of internal diagnostics, control processors, disk array drivers, harddisks, tape backup drives and other components. An up-to-date firmware version represents a fundamental prerequisite of full functionality and interoperability of all systems.

    Customers who run critical applications on their servers or who simply want to assure super-standard services for their servers, will certainly welcome the possibility to conclude a service provision contract. During the contract preparation, the time duration of a defect removal is negotiated, as well as the times at which our servicing centre is available to resolve the problem concerned. In respect to the fact that our company is also the service distributor, we are able to offer the most advantageous conditions.

  • Provision of Continuous Servicing Emergency Services for Contractual Customers
    We are prepared to provide the highest comfort of services for customers with a service provision contract concluded, including provision of cellular telephone numbers for provision of continuous emergency services. When necessary, our technician travels immediately upon the problem reporting to the installation site. Based on the contract, continuous emergency services can be agreed upon.

  • Installation of Operating Systems on IBM Servers
    Our company disposes of an experienced team of specialists who are ready to install all the operating systems supported on your servers including supportive, diagnostic and control programs provided by IBM.

  • IBM Computer Equipment Repairs
    Our servicing centres perform all repairs of IBM computer equipment in short terms. We dispose of a stock of the most frequently used spare parts; when the part concerned is not found on the stock, we order it directly in the IBM central stock of spare parts in Amsterdam. Based on the customer's wish, we deliver through the business channel IBM additional components no more available, such as spare batteries for portable computers, memory modules, plastic covers etc.

  • Warranty Services for IBM Servers, Notebooks, Workstations and Monitors
    Warranty services are provided fully in accord with the producer's conditions, and they are controlled by the quality check. The yearly audits of servicing centres by the company IBM only confirm our prime position among IBM warranty service providers in Europe.

In respect to the strategic distribution of authorized service provision centres in Prague and Brno, we are able to perform an operative intervention on the whole territory of the Czech Republic within short reaction times.
